S&W 500 but no 500 logo

I just got a new 500 but the 500 logo is not there (the thing with the letters S&W in the belly of the 5)?

Is your new 500 from the performance center?

if so, the PC logo on the left side of the gun seems to replace the "500" logo on the guns that I have seen.

If it is not a PC gun, I am guessing that it was an oversight.

No, it is a 8.38 HiVIZ interchangeable compensator and I dont think they make it PC. The rest of the gun seems legit, and I have all the docs. I was concerned someone replace the plate, or it is a fake

Brand new gun?

If used, someone may have polished it and rubbed the logo away.
