Is there a better grip I can get for it cause when I fire it the recoil sends the cylinder release into my thump. I'm not a small guy and have a good grip but I can't seam to keep it from sliding
I think yours has the square grip frame. I'm not sure, but see if Smith has a X frame Hogue that will fit. I put them on all my .44 Smith's, but they are the round grip frame. The X frame grips are cushioned on the back strap.
Second option to get some custom made wood. Hogue has the open back rubber and wood that might work as well.
