Default My new 686P 2.5"

Hi all!

Im on a revolver buying bug as of late. Before this Ive been a class3 nut. Ive bought 9 silencers, a SBR, and a AOW shotgun since 2009. Time to take a break and buy some good ole Amercian steel!

My only other wheelgun is my carry gun a 340PD with a clipdraw, so I bought this 686P today and I have a 29-2 4" on layaway.

I decided to grab up this snub before paying off the layaway because it was too good a deal to pass up and it would have sold fast. Ill pay off the 29 next month

So I bought this NIB off a local forum for.........$550, with case, papers, casing, and a box of 158grn gold dots. The poor guy bought it last month and had to sell it. Its never been fired. I just got done applying a light coat of mothers mag wheel polish as im waiting on my order of flitz to arrive.

cellphone pics-

This thing feels GREAT in the hand! I cant wait to shoot it.

NICE! Hurt's my eyes. I'd use a silicone gun cloth instead of Mother's, but that's just me, I use Mother's on my Harley.

Don't forget to send some pics of the 29-2 when you get it.

Fireman, question... is this thing sizeable enough to carry conceal? Sure the popular thing is the airweight series.... something about the 686 is just so sweet. Looking at your pictures makes me jealous.
Could this be a comfortable everyday carry??

Im jaded as I carry a 340PD......and no way in heck I'd carry the 686P all day. lol, its one heavy son-of-a-gun.

Id say some good example of carrying/use for this iron would be.

1. Farm/yard work loaded with snake shot in a OWB holster
2. Nightstand duty
3. Truck gun

I'm sure others carry it but the 340PD is so light you cant even feel it. I use the clipdraw with it and I notice my cell phone in my pocket more than the loaded gun on my hip.
