Default matte finish

My question is about some of the 6 series I have seen have almost a bead blasted finish to them. Is this common or special edition or can I have this done and how expensive is it?

A lot of the stainless revolvers have a matt or bead blast looking finish when they leave the factory an some have a shiny finish. A lot of the shiny ones you see for sale used have been polished by the owners to remove small scratches and rub marks on their revolvers.
