Newbie chiming in on 66's
New to the forum but not to my S&W's...especially the 66's. Will visit often and look forward to learning a few things!

That's a great pair! Very nice
I've been wanting to get a 4" M66 to go with my 2.5" for some time now...other guns just keep jumping ahead of it on the wishlist though :/

Welcome to the forum!
Nice P&R 66's you have there.
Perfect examples of everything you need in a revolver and nothing you don't! Regards 18DAI.

Will be adding a 3" 66-3 soon...I have been waiting for a 66 no dash or dash 1 in 3" but having no luck. Found a nice dash 3 so it will do for now. I will post a pic when it arrives. I don't know how many P&R 3" were made. Anyone know?

The only P&R 3" 66's I've ever seen were post production barrel swaps. Both of them here on this forum. No factory P&R 3" 66's.
The first 3" 66's were made in 1985-86. After P&R had ceased. Regards 18DAI

I guess the 66-3 will be the one. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Now I can stop looking for something that doesn't exist!

I'm looking for a 66 2.5" but finding them quite expensive to buy, but I'm fussy.
