I just bought a 329PD a couple of months ago, the cylinder has burn marks on the sides of the cylinder over each charge hole, as well as the usual burn rings on the face of the cylinder.
How should I clean the Titanium cylinder to remove the burn marks on the sides? I am under the impression that one has to treat Titanium with "baby gloves" due to a special coating applied by S&W.
What you can't get off with a good cleaning with Hoppe's and rags or nylon brushes was not meant to be removed.
At least that's the rule around my house.
