Default Need advice on cleaning Titanium cylinder

I just bought a 329PD a couple of months ago, the cylinder has burn marks on the sides of the cylinder over each charge hole, as well as the usual burn rings on the face of the cylinder.

How should I clean the Titanium cylinder to remove the burn marks on the sides? I am under the impression that one has to treat Titanium with "baby gloves" due to a special coating applied by S&W.

Dont get frisky.

What you can't get off with a good cleaning with Hoppe's and rags or nylon brushes was not meant to be removed.
At least that's the rule around my house.

I don't worry too much about how it looks. Too much cleaning will loosen the action / yoke / cylinder. I only clean the chambers; brush, patch.

Thanks for the replies.

Guess I just have to learn to live with the burn marks.

No you dont! Noxon 7 will take the marks off the outer part of the cylinder.
