Yes I hate rubber grips was always a Stag man or pearl when that was all I could get or had the cash for! My 649 was pretty much strictly a work horse. Carried alot while near the ocean in the summer heat and misty nights..served me well..in a moment of stupid sold it!

I thought I would mix things up a bit and change grips around. Same guns as in post #102. What do you think?

I've had them on a 640 no-dash EDC for over ten years. Not pretty, but they give me a higher grip on the gun and make shooting 158 grain +P LSWCHP comfortable despite severe arthritis in my hands. They aren't really hard to conceal, either. At my age I have to go for function over fashion.

A photo of my M34 and M49, showing the grip options. The lowest is a Pachmyer that gives the same grip and trigger reach of a K-frame. This allows the 34 to accurately simulate my M10. The tiny 'lemon peel' grips plus the T-grip adapter is perfect for the Bodyguard for both its 'grippability' and maintaining the gun's classic looks.

My old 36 in my Galco Tuck N Go concealed carry holster, which allows me to carry with a tucked in shirt, with the oversized, fingergrooved, super rosewood grips from Altamont. Also sprung for the optional S&W medallions. $60 shipped.
