Default .357 66-5 3"barrel question

Hi,
No more lurking for me. I'm waiting for the paperwork to go through on this Smith, got to love calif.
Anyway the serial number is CEL 7XXX
Can anyway give me any information about when this was made and how many were produced?
I really appreciate it

Catalog says DOB is in 2000. Can't say how many were made but probably not a lot of 'em.

Does it look like this? Barrel is actually a little over 3", most say 3 1/4" but I think closer to 3 1/8".

I owned this model. The box was marked 3.2" barrel.

Thats my gun. Any suggestions on a left hand holster? I think I'm going to put Ahrends Retro Combat grips on it in cocobolo. Your thoughts?
Gunsmith said the trigger was extremely tight and rated the gun 85/90%

Great gun. Nice find. Ahrends retro combats are fantastic. Here is a picture of a few of my guns. The 65-5 with cocobolo is among them.
