My vote is for David Lapell's 3.5 inch Model 27-2 pic with a runner up on xray97's 2.5 inch Model 19.

Just bought 3 more that I don't have pics of yet.

Nickel m19-5 4" (LNIB), stainless m66-1 2 1/2", blued m19-4 2 1/2" (NIB), and blued m586-3 4" (INS comm. in walnut presentation case).

I just started collecting about 3 months ago.
It's damn addicting.

Ok, just zipped through the whoooole thread again, I gotta vote for gator's three consecutive posts, 70,71 and 72, holy moly, gorgeous collection. Since no one posted between his, I consider them one big post. MEANWHILE, thanks to this thread I put my Wildey Survivor and Super Blackhawk on gunbroker today, and I went to the gun store and felt the triggers on SW revolvers! A 29 or 629 is in my very very near future....

I am a traditionalist and so vote for post #8.

Couple more 44's: (look Ma, no safeties!)

(sorry, couldn't resist).

Guns are not to scale with each other.

16" 94AE with laminate stock not offered that (initial) year.
20" B92 with some nice walnut.
both in .44 Magnum.

Default pictures won't upload

When I try to upload from my browser it thinks for awhile then says upload failed. Any guess as to what I'm not doing right. I don't have any problems using gun brokers tools for pictures, they load direct from your browser. I could use some help. Then again my wife says that all the time.

Are you using a photo hosting site like "PhotoBucket"? If not then you'll need to use one. There are others, I have only ever used photobucket. It is free and all you do is creat an acct. much like joining a forum. After the pictures are hosted to the site then all you do is copy & paste the IMG code to the body of a post.

I host pictures on my own (minimal ISP supplied) web site.
Upload em via FTP and paste the url into this forum.
Seems to work fine.

Is there anyway that the moderators could set up some sort of graph or chart so we can see who gets what votes? Seems to me that would be much easier after going through the entire thread multiple times.."Just sayin"!!

There's an old saying, "Anything is much easier for the person that doesn't have to do it". Catch my drift?

Scrapper: Those are some outstanding speed loaders. (The gun and rig are as well).
Who makes em? You?

As far as hand held elephant guns go, I do have a DW .445SM.
I don't shoot it much as it is not really up to the task metallurgically
speaking. While the company was extant they repaired excess
end shake twice. Too bad as otherwise it is as good as a handgun
can get.

I have always been attracted to the .500 and now the ultra .45.

Your gun looks a lot nicer than some of the outrageous versions
I see at the S&W store.

Default Here's my Two Tone (born 586 no dash)

Here's a picture of my Two Tone 586 (no dash).

It was recently purchased from a shop here in North Carolina, and has the best trigger I've ever owned!

I'm told it came out of a collection, and would love to know more about the gunsmith that did the work!

Enjoy the pictures...

Heres a few pictures of some of mine
First is a couple of Highway patrols.
second are my 681 and 581, All I need is a nickel 581 to complete the set.
And last are my 39's, top is a 39 no dash with full length extractor, second is a nickel 39-2 and last a 39-2

The last pics aren't of smiths but they are all pretty cool (in my opinion) Top is a Browning Buckmark silhouette. Second is a Dan Wesson .445 Super Mag And last but not least my Colt Magnum Carry.
