Default Grips on the current 686 models

Greetings all,

I'm new to this forum as I finally got my first revolver which is a 686 Plus 4". Not new to firearms and in many other forums.

I do apologize if this subject has been talked about already but I did not find exactly what I was looking for in the search.

The 686 I have currently has the monogrips on them. However, if you look at the current models on Smith and Wesson's site, the revolvers look to have a new synthetic grip on them. Nowhere can I find these. I even emailed S&W but haven't heard back yet.

Product: Model 686 Plus

I am real interested about the grips that are shown. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I beleive they are Uncle Mike's, but I'm sure others can verify.

I agree they look like Uncle Mike's to me. I like the Hogue's that came on mine and switched to a Hogue Monogrip in Pau Ferro just because it looked good (and still felt good)

I always read on gun boards how someone has emailed some gun related company and never heard a response. I can only imagine the amount of emails they get. Just call them.
