Default My newest addition

Last month I placed a WTB ad for a 4" barrel for a Model 624 so I could put mine back to as built condition. I had no luck with the ad and could not find one online at all. I gave up on finding the barrel, and kept checking GunBroker for a Model 624 with 4" barrel, and last week I finally found one for sale and bid on it & won. I picked the gun up at my dealers today, and I'm a happy camper once more. It came with the target stocks, but no box, papers, or tools. I replaced the target stocks with Pachmayrs for shooting, and installed the case hardened target hammer & combat trigger too, as I like the looks of the case coloring with the stainless steel.

Congratulations on a successful hunt for a revolver that you really wanted as it can be frustrating at times. That one is a beauty and was certainly worth the wait.

Thumbs up Bill I couldn't agree with you more.

I love the contrast of a dark hammer, trigger and grips with a stainless gun. The ugliest combo I've ever seen was all stainless with ivory or light maple grips.LOL.

I'll have to admit that the case colors do look nice with the stainless gun. In my favorite caliber to boot. You came out with a winner.
