Default Was this 629 config. every offered?

I would really like to find a 629-5 in a certain configuration that I have always assumed was offered. But now that have looked around a little I don't see any.

Did S&W every make the 629-5 in a 6" barrel length with just the ejector rod shrouded (meaning no full underlug)?

I know they made tons of 629's of other dashes without the underlug but did the -5 ever come this way?

Thanks,
Mark in GA

Default just going by the book

Yes according to the standard catalog vol 3, it has a product code of 103606 offered between the years 96 thru 01 retail $740. I found this info on page 257 in the above mentioned catalog

Default Full underlug

After my first post I went back and read your post again and you were concerned about the underlug, so I went back to the catalog to check the features and in the features list "FL" indicates Full underlug and that was Not in the features list so I'm assuming product 103606 does not have full underlug, I think thats the way it works cause I looked up my 629-6 and "FL" is in the features list, so I hope thats correct. I am sure if it's BS than someone will chime in.
