Default Combat grip question....need quick help

Did S&W ever make finger groove combats in the l/k configuration with both panels recessed at the top of the panel or just the left side for the logo and or speedloader?

I have seen N frame grips with both panels recessed but never L/K's.

You should send a PM to VM....I bet that he would know...I checked all of my K/L's and none of them are cut on both sides...then again, none of my N frame size are cut either?

On page 338 of the SCSW 3rd edition it shows a pic of the Twelve Revolver set and some of them have the grips like your pic. So yes there was some made like that.

I'm not sure but look at the second gun on this page. It looks like a K frame, perhaps a 3" M64 or M65.

Both. The cut on the left is for speed loader relief. The cut on the right was for a logo relief, such as a commemorative gun with a logo on the side plate.
