Looking up Mfg. dates
Are there any resources other than S&W standard catalog or calling the factory or requesting a letter to find out when a gun was made. Thanks

Some Forum members and collectors glean this information from their own research online and elsewhere, but this can be pretty tedious work and fairly nonspecific. Consecutive SNs of the same gun may have been shipped months or years apart.
