J Frame Unfluted Cylinder
Has there been a run of J Frames with unfluted cylinders? I seem to recall seeing one somewhere, but don't recall the specifics. Any info appreciated. Pictures would be awesome.

From the PC. Magnaported as well. Marked RSR? Purchased in the '90's.

M649 Unfluted Cylinder
I recently bought an unfluted cylinder for a J Frame on GB. I've not shot my gun yet, but it feels very well balanced.

cjtraining,
Notice you are in Charlotte and seem to share my appreciation of the Bodyguard. Maybe we can meet up and shoot that one sometime. Where do you shoot locally?

Yep! I had a feeling that would look really nice, and it looks even better than I expected. Well darn it all, now I need to buy one!

here is a picture of mine bought brand new
This came with wood and the grips on it. I have not fired this gun at all.It is still in the original box that say's unfluted cylinder right on the box. I think I bought this in about 1987. It did cost more then a SS 60 at the time.

That's what I love about about this forum; guys on here have the coolest stuff. I've never seen a Model 60 with an unfluted cylinder. Thanks for posting it.
I finally found my RSR 640 a few months ago.
