Default 317-3 owners

Spent last week in SoCal visiting. Friend has new 317-3, has about a hundred rounds through it. The trigger in DA is really hard and seems to have tight spots. The SA release is clean, but seems like around 6-7 pounds. Any recommendations?

I swapped springs with an 8 lb. main and 13 lb rebound.
Seemed to help with no misfires.
From your description, there may be stuff going on inside.
