Default Questions about a 686-3 that I just picked up.........

What are the markings above the model number (BKR2006) and what does the "S" stand for in the ejector tube below the barrel? Stainless? Thanks for any information.

Im new at this so hope i get it right. Yes the S means stainless. And the BKR2*** is the serial number. (Some people worry about posting serial numbers online.)

I don't worry about the serial numbers so much as I have a bill of sale and can prove I own the gun. Thanks for the info.
