19-5. What kind of grips should I put on it?
Currently has the Pachmyer presentation grips. I've thought of finding eith original wood grips, or buying some Ahrends. What do you think is better for both looks and shooting? Anyone got pics of their 19's in Ahrends?

I have both and much prefer the Ahrends when it comes to shooting. If you can, see which fits your hand better - the Ahrends tactical seem to be a little bit smaller and fit me better.

I have Ahrends Retro Targets on my 4" 66-2 and their Retro Combats on my 6" 66-2. I also have a set ordered for my 2-1/2" 66-4. While not original equipment, they are more comfortable than the factory target stocks and I have numerous sets of those on hand if I ever want to make a gun "original" again.

What do you think about light vs dark wood on a blued gun? I have some dark, almost walnut looking cocobolo Ahrends on a 617, and it looks good.

Ahrends round butt Tactical. If I could do it over again I would have bought the round to square, but I liked the grain in this cocobolo.

Ahrends get my vote. I buy the round butt finger grooves and sand the grooves down for a custom fit. A couple coats of poly makes em look brand new. I think the darker ones definately go the best with a stainless revolver and also like them on a blued one. JMHO.
