Mod 36-1 that's finally finished...
I bought this 36-1 last year. It had a broken hammer spur, an unusually heavy trigger pull and a set of cheap rubber grips.
Changed out the hammer, put in a Wolff spring package and a set of stocks from here on the classifieds... and this is it!
I saw it as a high condition revolver that needed a little rehab to put it right. I shot a tight group at 7 paces with 158gr standard velocity ammo, probably got more in it than it's worth with all the time & parts but I'm happy with the results!

Beautiful, just beautiful. Congrats on the find, and the work you put in it to make it right. Money cannot replace that one.

Those smooth contoured cocobolo stocks are very hard to find, most folks hang on to 'em.

Thank you for saving this great gun. I'm glad it wound up in the hands of someone who would set it right. It's a very nice piece and I'm sure you will enjoy owning and shooting it.

They are grips from a S&W M60 Pro and feel great. Larger than the others but give a good solid hold.
