Default 66-2 finish/re-finish

I have a m66 - 4" that has some scratches from a previous owner. Some time ago I saw a thread that mentioned a glass bead blast to re-fish....I much prefer the "satin" look.
Any suggestions?

I had a local guy bead blast a SA GI model for refinishing. He charged $25.00 and it was worth every penny. I was going to say that you could get a Scotchbrite and do it but you probably wouldn't get into all the nooks and crannies as you would with BB. I imagine it would look like a satin finish hard chrome and that looks very nice to me.

I also have a S&W Model 66-2 and used a Scotchbrite pad. Go to either a auto parts store or auto paint company and get the gray scotchbrite pads. Take your time and go slowly back and forth on the metal. It is time consuming if you are fussy with it but the end result will be worth it.

I also apply some Renaissance Wax to it after and it really looks nice.
