Default What to use to wipe down/ clean and to keep the luster of your nickel Smith's shining

Hi,
I wanted to see what is good to use to wipe down/ clean your nickel smith's to make sure you keep the luster of the nickel finish shining and also to remove the lead residue, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do not use any ammonia based product as Hoppe's or oils with out cleaning them off. I use Mothers Mag wheel polish and follow with Flitz wax. kyle

Flitz makes a gun and knife care kit that includes polish, cleaner, wax, polish, and a microfiber cloth. Works great on nickel, polished stainless and blue.

Guys thanks for the good info, I will try the mag polish and then flitz, should you just wipe it on there and then wipe it off quick or let it sit there for a while.

I use a little Flitz for cleaning and shining but I wipe it down completely with micro fiber cloths. If you don't get it all off it smears when handled and looks unsightly. For barrel and chamber cleaning I uses good ole #9, but never leave it sit or dry on the nickel. As long as it's removed completely I've never had a problem
