I talked with S&W re my then 5" 63, a SS .22 rimfire. To be blunt, they don't suggest - or do - spring changes in a rimfire J-frame. This is to insure no ftf's. Their 'J-frame Trigger Job' is only $85 - and a large part of that is the overnite shipping from & to your home. They do 'clean up the action', however - and make the action smoother - undoubtedly a little less effort, too. A 'Master Trigger' job from S&W is twice that for a centerfire K, L, N frame - and includes spring changes - and is quite an improvement, by comparison.
Your .22 WMR chambered S&W J-frame requires even more hammer energy for reliable ignition, making it even less likely as a hammer spring change candidate for reliable use. Sorry!
