Default N frame grip question

I am thinking of changing grips and/or frame shape. It is a 624 square with the factory targets in near perfect condition. Are these grips rare? What are they worth? Would it be hard to find someone to trade me round frame grips just like them? These might be dumb questions, but I have been watching for a while & haven't seen any of these pop up for sale, except the guy on ebay wanting $300.00 for a set , which seems HIGH! Thanks in advance.

I don't see a question, but I do see some finger groove combat grips on a really sweet gun.

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to make sure the picture took hold before all the typing.

The grips run 130 to 150. You might be able to trade but the round butt grips are usually a little harder to find.

Combat grips are a beautiful thing desired by many and yes they run from $150 and up for them depending on the color and how much pretty grain they have on them. The set pictured is a beautiful pair and to the right buyer would sell for $200 or almost instantly for $150.

If your gun has a square butt grip frame (if those grips are original, it does), round butt combat grips will not properly fit. Having someone modify the gripframe is a bad idea that would seriously hurt the value of the gun.

Very nice gun. Sorry to add on to your thread, but I don't know much about the 624 and it looks like a great revolver especially a 3". How do you all like the .44 special? Is it between a .357 and 44 mag in power. Thanks for any answer, I'm 22 and have the S&W bug.

Agree. A square butt gun doesn't normally do well with round butt grips. That is a very nice gun, I'd just shoot and enjoy it if I were you.
