Talking Latest Purchase

I purchased this S&W 586-1 with 6 inch barrel from forum member mtang45 and it is a beauty. The revolver came with the box, paperwork and tool kit and it locks up like a Bank vault.

Congratulations on YOUR purchase fyimo! That's definitely a great example of one of the best shooting guns S&W ever made. I hope you plan on shooting it some, the full lug adds just the right forward balance to make the sights hang on the target and return upon breaking the shot. Enjoy.

That is one beautiful gun, to go along with all the other ones you have. I saw the 10-5 you bought recently. I have been looking at one that looks about like yours at a local shop. Have made an offer but no deal yet. Also, your photos are excellent, and enjoy reading your posts. Mark.

That's one on my "Wish List", that I haven't been able to afford, find or otherwise obtain.

She's a beauty. Enjoy!

I purchased this 19-3 from the same group mtang45 let go that day. I couldn't help but notice that the 586 lasted all of about 15 minutes from post to sold! Excellent gun! I am also very pleased with the 19-3. I have since put the darker grips in this pic from the 66 to the 19 and it looks great!

Mtang45's 3 guns only lasted a total of about 3 hours. Having seen your other guns I know the 586 found a good home.

I wasn't looking for a 586 even though I love my shooter grade 686 with 6 inch barrel but the darn 586 just looked so pristine I had to jump in and say "I'll take it". Then for the next ten minutes I kept saying what the heck did I just do. Now that it's here I'm a very happy camper indeed and I do plan on shooting it.
