Default First post - my S&W family

I have been reading the posts on this forum for quite a while and thought I would post to say hello and show off my own little S&W family. Every gun has a purpose in my collection ...

I have two (2) M64's - each was a gun show find and after some cleaning and polishing they look terrific. The DAO looks like it was never used before I bought it. The DAO is also my primary home defense handgun and is loaded with Speer 135gr hollow point +p

The 442 with the pink grips is my wives

The 642 is my EDC (also loaded with Speer 135gr HP +p

The 686 was my first S&W purchase a long time ago.

I also have some plastic semi-autos as well but they just don't appeal to me like my S&W revolvers!

Oh I know - Friday I had only one M64 and Saturday, after the local gun show, I somehow had 2 M64s in my collection. I worked a good price on the DAO 64 and just had to bring it home!

I started years ago with a lone 66-1 4". Stayed that way for quite some time. In the last 3 yrs it has boomed to 6 357's (all Smiths), a Smith stainless 1911 5", a stainless Walther PPK/S, an E series 4.25" 1911Sc on the way and my wish list is growing faster than I can fill it!

...and my meager holdings pale to most on this forum!

Remember, just because you have a large family doesn't mean you can't adopt!!

So, how many "wives" do you have and do they fight over it or just take turns using it??

Sorry, I just couldn't resist! Nice pieces and I like your reasoning!
