Default S&W customer service

I just had a great interaction with S&W customer service.

Back in August the laser module on my wife's BG38 failed. Although she doesn't really use the laser when she practices she wanted it fixed.

After finding out that Insight technologies no longer serviced their laser we sent it, as directed, to Springfield MA for repair/replacement.

Somehow, unbeknown to us, it became lost. I wrote S&W customer service yesterday and corresponded with a David Fellion.

David researched the problem, told me they had no record of receiving the laser module and asked for my mailing address so he could send us a new module.

Great service!

Jim

Good for you, but...I like to track anything I send in all the way home. Did you have a shipping label with a tracking number, or did it go US Mail? It worked out for you great this time, but even if you ship components other than weapons back in the US Mail...you can obtain a tracking number from the post office.

I had a similar experience with a warranty return through David about four weeks ago.

As has been my usual experience with S&W customer service, his response was knowledgeable, cordial, and the service outstanding....

Their second day air Fed Ex shipping is always track-able with e-mailed delivery notification. Got my gun back in two weeks... Thanks, David and S&W!!

Hit and run... How about some more details. Better yet, start your own thread and let us know what happened.
