Default Model 66-4 chamber pressure

I have a 66-4 357 K frame. I know it should not be fired at HIGH pressure of a full magnum load "What is the safe pressure, (higher limits) it can fire with cast bullets"? Thanks beng

full house 357's are fine for the k frames- the idea is a steady diet of magnums can cause issues, especially for some reason the 125gr JHP's that were the go to police load years back.
I don't know too many people that beat up themselves or guns with regular use of magnums-most people use 38 specials, or at least reduced loads in magnum cases.

They'll take it. One of our officers had one, probably a 66-2, that fired a LOT of .357/125s, with no ill effects. Nowadays I'd be a lot more circumspect about it and very sparing with the 125s, but neither are they made of pot metal.
