Finally,a model 63. The search is over. Pictures of J frame 22s'.
Greetings all you friendly fellow Smith-O-maniacs.
Today I rejoice as I have finally found the elusive model 63.
I have seen them offered up for $600. Yikes. Not that they are not worth that,,
but I have never seemed to have the Cash$ to buy one.
So, the pawn shop 1/2 mile from my house pulls 40 guns out for sale.
Yikes again. Here I always get into troubble.
So, i bought the model 63 and put the model 40 on lay-a-way.
I shot the 63 today and it is nice. Small but nice.
Stainless Kit Gun nice.
Here are my pictures of the 63, the model 35, and the new 317.
All the J frame 22 l.r. cousins. Fun to shoot. Pop - pop.
Serial number places it at 1983 production, so, no pinned barrel.
But it is marked as a 63 no dash.
It joins my model 35-1 in the J frame target gallery.
Regards
Allen Frame

Man Allen , you've been kickin' butt in the revolver buyin' department lately!
Nice liitle stainless rimfire you have there. I really like the smooth magna stocks... not often seen in square butt.
The older I get the more often I shoot 20ga shotguns instead of 12's and .22's instead of centerfire handguns.

BTW, I see by your photos, you moved, didn't you?

Neat little J frames, Now you just need a round butt snub 34 or 63 to complete the spread.
J22's may not be at the K22 level of accuracy and trigger pull they make GREAT little trainers for females, kids and people with small hands.
Now....Who was that fellow that once told me "J frames are a dime a dozen" ?

You will love that little model 63. They are great little pop guns.
Nice photos as well. And very nice looking model 35. Don`t see those every day.
My little model 63 is below, between a nickel model 36 and a 500.
