Model 29 .44 mag. It has the original box, blued metal, 6inch barrel, and less than 200 rounds through it.

Its in awesome condition and has been well maintained, I'm wondering what a fair price might be for it.

I would guess in the $550 to $600 range.

I have been trying like hell to find a nice 29 let me know all the essentials and I'll buy it from you if the price is right. Like above what - number? Pinned barrel and recessed cyclinder??? I'm looking for these features.

Paper box or presentation case? If you want to know what it is worth, go to the auction sites and see what is being bidded on, and how much they are bringing. Don't pay any attention to what the asking price is. Some of them have been on there for months. The book values are a joke as well. Take a look at what you have, find something similar, if it is being bidded on, it will be worth your time to see where it goes. I have a number of 29-2s, and wouldn't begin to tell you my opinion on what your gun is worth. DLB
