Default N frame round butt grips

I have decided on VZ or S&W grips for my 629-6.Has any one used the grip from the S&W store? The same for the VZ.I am unable to physically hold either one and returns are a pain.I like the pictures of both, but again, feel is different.Thanks.

The store sells several different ones.
Hogue, Ahrends and Altamont.
After trying all sorts of different ones, my RB N-Frame comp guns both now wear the factory grips from the new 629s.
Not shown in the store.
The only apparent way to get them is to call Customer Service.

I have the VZ and am very happy. They fit well, look good, and are controllable. They are on my 3" 657. For photos, go to the reloading forum and look at the short barrel .41 mag defensive load thread.

I decided to go "nice" and bought a set from Hogue, in the choice of wood that I then liked.

Of course, a year later, I decided a different shade would look better....

Too many choices!
