940 Grip question
Picked up this nice 940 awhile ago and have not been able to identify the grips.
Anyone got any ideas as to who made them?
Thanks

No idea who made them but I like the look of the design. They did a nice job incororating that little extra for your pinky without making the grip too long so the gun keeps a balanced look. How do they feel when you shoot it?

WAG, They look similar to the style of carving of a set I purchased from a Thai dealer on ebay??
These are the sellers pictures.. I still need to build a white box..

Thanks for the feedback .
I have not shot this one as yet..it is just pulling nightstand duty.
I have seen several similar grips but none with the arched area on the bottom end of the grip.
The grips are well made and fit nicely and are very comfortable in my hand.
The 940 shipped with rubber Hogues as far as I know..I bought this as unfired in the box but some one obviously swapped the grips and the box is not origional so who knows.
But I like it.

Yep. Definitely from Thailand. Lots of them for sale on ebay.
Edit to add: Very nice gun!

Humm..I stand corrected.
Closer inspection shows that my grips are indeed the ones that Photoman pointed to.
Thanks for your help.

You're welcome Hardway. I've purchased about a dozen or so sets of grips from Thailand with hit or miss results. I've been happy with most of the full size grips but the smaller, service size grips haven't fit well.

Good info.
Think I will take a pass on them that being the case.
I will just keep an eye out for some more J frame Talo's instead
