Default 25-5

I was taking pictures and listing serial numbers of my collection of guns today for my home owners insurance. I have posted some pictures of my other guns.

Here is my favorite.

I was using my wife's camera and I accidentally set it to black and white. I thought this was kinda cool.

I have posted pictures of this before, but it seemed like a good idea to do it again.

Thanks for letting me share.

Paul

Nice one you got there. The B&W picture is kinda neat, too.

I like my 25-5. Beautiful gun, and a lot of fun to shoot.

You don't have to convince me. The 4" model 25-5 was my first Smith in
45 Colt ctg. and started the obsession rolling.
Mine is a non pinned 1985 build. With serial prefix AZB.

I'm curious as to your serial prefix?

Great piece ,thanks for the photo.

Nice gun...Here's mine after only 2 years of use before I went to the 645. It got a lot of use. I'm thinking of getting it reblued as a retirement present.....

Nice...great revolvers. I had a 4" years ago but let it go (one of those that got away) but recently bought a rusty unpinned 6incher that I'm going to send back for a refinish. All my other revolvers are stainless but there's nothing like a big blue .45.

I think the .45 Colt cartridge is great; particularly in Model 25-5 Smith Revolvers. Everyone should have one...or two...or three!

Great looking 25 you have there! I love those 4 inch N frames. Here is one of my 25's, a 25-9.

I just put this set of bench-made English walnut grips on my long barreled 25-5. I like the smooth, shiny grips with the smooth, shiny bluing.

I regrettably let one go I traded into right, I thought I did not need another caliber to stock brass and components for.... Then this year traded into a red hawk hunter in 45 colt, at least it came with Dies, brass n a mold

KSCowboy - that's real nice leather rig. Might have to call up El Paso and see what they can do for my 4" N Frame.

Talking 45 Colt S&Ws

Here's my 625-6 Hunter and 25-5. I borrowed my dad's 25-9 to complete the cycle.
