Matching Rigs, Grips, Belt, Holster aka BBQ Rig
Now that I have a 66 to work with I am trying to come up with a nice looking casual (with jeans) wear setup. Grips, complimenting Belt and Holster.
I'm thinking now I am going to have to do a set in brown and a set in black. Here is the black.
Grips:
Holster: Something like this lobo in black
Black Horsehide Gun Belt:
Revolver:
Let's see your ensemble. :>)

^^ That's a hard act to follow. Beautiful!
I'll set the bar a little lower, 442, Heritage grips in a Bianchi Remedy. Still waiting for my Bianchi dress belt to go with it.

Simply Rugged Holsters
Stag Grips
I don't have any photos of my rig. Presently I mostly use IWB. I will be going with the Simply Rugged carved with optional IWB Sourdough.
Oxblood since it is what I have in a belt from Bulman which works well. The Oxblood wears well and blends in without being an attention magnet if used for CCW. I had the belt made longer, yes it can be done. A dog chewed the end up.
I like the stag grips with a grip adapter since it looks great and holds its looks and value too. If it feels right in your hand. Also the secret service grip is a comfortable one.
I have been trying to coordinate my carry piece in caliber with my back up and my wife's carry gun. Less ammo logistical issues when on a trip.
Her SP 101 and my 640 with .38 specials in the ammo pouch or speed loader.
Good luck in your choice.

Those are some fine looking rigs. I'm thinking maybe my selections are a bit too conservative and I may need something just a tad "dressier" although I think I will still start with something in basic black.
Thanks for sharing.

squidsix that's a nice setup. What's the rear sight on the 870? What's on the front?

The rear is a Scattergun Technology (Wilson Combat) ghost ring, and the front is a tritium blade. It makes clover leafs at 30 yards with Brenneke slugs. Maybe that shotgun needs a thread all its own...

She's working on a belt for me now. It won't match this holster, I'm working on another pattern for the belt and another holster.

This was todays rig. M&P by S&W, Holster by Me, Belt by Aker.
This was yesterdays ensemble. 1911 by Les Baer, Leather by Tucker Gunleather.
I told the wife just yesterday that being able to CC gives me a new appreciation for what she goes go through getting dressed everyday. She has to decide which outfit to wear...I have to decide which firearm to carry. Her, what shoes and purse...Me, what holster and belt. Her, which jewelry to wear...Me, which cover garment.

Till you get shoes and a "sholder bag" to match, is it really an "outfit"?

Never seen one like that for a longer barrel.
My own modest rig is kind of a "lil black dress".
Galco SB-5 belt. Mernickle cartridge holder. LH 3" 624 gun
and holster with ebony grips by Spegel. Those are Skeeter
loads in the holder.
I also carry my 4" 624 in a black Mernickle with the walnut
Jordan Trooper handles on this rig but the pix didn't turn out
well this time. You have seen that rig elsewhere on the forum.

That one is from a fellow named Dennis Alexander from Ohio. Made both the holster and ammo band for the shotgun. Beautiful work. He used to have an Ebay store, but that was a long time ago.

The cell-phone needs a little engraving and some chrome, too - a lot of chrome...
