That's a Gazelle holster, made in England. I bought it on ebay from a US dealer. A word of caution though, I ordered a third one and it arrived this week. It was not the same color or fit as the first two (as pictured). I'm returning the third one and, hopefully, the dealer will be able to send me another one like the one pictured. I ~really~ like this holster.

Bianchi 'Lightning Grips'. No longer produced, but they do show up on the auction sites from time to time.

Those are Bianchi Lightning grips. They are no longer made, but occasionally turn up on the internet or in gun shows. They were made in a choice of brown or black.

Thanks. I took that one camping last summer in between intense moments. As you can see from the photo below, we picked a nice spot with absolutely nothing around but wind! But I digress...
The speedloaders are S.L. Variant. Made in Germany. Most excellent!

My "always" (in the front pocket holster) Model 37 Airweight from the pinned barrel era. I've got the original stocks put away for safekeeping. It wears a set of wonderful Elk stag grips from Patrick Grashorn + a Tyler T-grip . . .
Model 36 from the early '60s era ("flat latch," "diamond" stocks, pinned barrel. My knees get weak and my wallet lighter when I see "diamonds!"
Shoots well too . . . first target, standing/unsupported @ 10 yards at a 1" black square target. It's a keeper for sure!!! . . .
and the M36 in a left-handed Mitch Rosen UPL (Upper Limit) holster I purchased from a forum member a few years ago . . . NICE holster indeed. Also, I've added the T-grip since this little revolver was purchased a few years ago . . .

I like them a lot. A bit bulky but very functional. The work very similar to the Safariland Comp III for the K frames but load and retain the cartridges differently (better in my opinion). They are a bit hard to find. I got mine from Bobby Mac.

That is a very nice but also unusual 36. Never seen one between c. 1955 and 1966 without the flat latch!! A typical 1960 era 36 would have the 3rd style flat latch. One can never say never about what Smith built!

Could you tell us what S&W charged for a refinish in black?
Is this the same coating found on the 340 M&P?

9/2008 invoice:
$150.00 refinish
$030.00 discount
$014.00 ups next day
$134.00 total
If you can, ask for Larry at the performance center - very helpful. First question was if they could do it as they won't touch the 442 / 642 for refinishing - he said they'd do the 342 no problem. In my letter accompanying the 342 I asked for the same finish as the 342PD - iirc during my phonecon with Larry he said it was the same. I don't really worry about it. Sent it in late Aug and the invoice was dated mid Sep, so turnaround was not more than 2-3 weeks.

Ya he's an old man. Gonna be 10 in January. Legs are going. But in his prime he was one frisbee catching son of a gun.

That looks pretty good! I didn't know if they could NP3 alloy guns. I notice, too, that it appears you have a forged trigger in that gun...did you fit that yourself? To a forged hammer? An MIM hammer? I'm interested in the details.
Thanks for sharing,

I like he /\ had no idea that the alloy S&Ws could be refinished. I just e-mailed Robar asking if they could NP3+ my Scandium 340? That would be awesome.
Edit:
Got a reply from Robar, they can refinish Scandium. It's a $70 charge to strip the current finish. It's $395 for the NP3+ finish! Ouch.
