Birthdate of 586-4
Found a 586 snubby with serial # BRF389X. Need help with date of manufacture and did they make a 2 1/2" barrel length then? Thanks in advance.

The SCSW shows BRF as Aug. 1994. I'll have to read a little more to see about your other question.

The SCSW shows 2 different product codes for some 2.5" guns made in 1993 and 94. Some were for a Brazil contract and were in 38 Special.
If the price is right I'd buy it.
