Default Vortex Strikefire

Anyone have experience with this Red/Green dot sight?

Vortex Optics - StrikeFire Red/Green Dot Low Mount

I've heard good things about Vortex and this seems like it should handle the recoil from a big bore.

My agency bought two of them...they were installed on M-4 type weapons with full auto capability and lasted long enough to be zeroed and thru a single qualification run each.
Both then went stone cold, graveyard dead...Captian has contacted company. My information is that he was told that since the warranty had expired they would not repair or replace either unit....
