Default anti-gun ad!!!

I know this is not the correct forum for this thread...

BUT!
I just read an anti-gun ad on the left side of my screen!
The ad says "Don't let guns from Rick Perry's Texas into your neighborhood!!!

When I clicked on it, it was an ad for a NY politician who is fighting the HR bill that would allow concealed carry permits to be honored in all states (that do allow CCW).

This has got to be an oversight on the administrator's part...
but I hope it gets corrected!

How the heck can an anti-gun ad appear on this website?

Be open minded about it. Read it and laugh. Better still, click on it, then click your back button. As I understand the Google metric, every click costs them even more than just being in the "mix". They don't pay for just the ad, they also pay for the interest it generates as indicated by the "clicks". Be fair to them, make it even more costly.

Simple. The adminstrator of this site sells ad space to finance the site that we all enjoy. He has no control over what ads are run. I, for one, think it's HILARIOUS that the anti-gunners are PAYING GOOD MONEY for this site to run ads that we will not pay one iota of attention to. It's kinda like watching OWS protestors whine about corporate greed while surfing the internet on their $5,000 Apple computers and wearing $200 designer jeans. Handejector is a genius and has my admiration and gratitude.

Thanks for your input and opinion.
I am all for the ads helping to pay for the site...and appreciate this site very much...but I was so shocked to see anti-gun ads here....that I posted hastily.

To the administrator of this site: I am sorry, and do not mean to be negative about the ads....just the anti-gun ads are hard to take...

Thanks for letting me know how the Google Ad thingee works..

If those ads are helping to pay for this forum, so be it!

I am more concerned about those politicians, voters, and political groups that are unable or unwilling to form or state an opinion than those that at least have the courage to state what they believe (even if different than my own opinion).

The debate over gun rights was going on ten years ago, it continues today, and it will still be going on ten years from now. We will all survive regardless, because we are Americans.

Lee has no control over google ads.
On the other hand, it’s always nice when the anti-gun crowd helps pay for this forum. Every dollar they spend here is one they don’t use on a more receptive audience.
