I got this 29-5 last year (BER 23XX) for $500. It has the fluted cylinder and is a little earlier than yours. It says "#355 out of 500" but rare is a very "subjective" term. 4" K22 masterpieces and P&R 18's were made by the boatloads but the prices would say they are "rare." Joe

What I find as odd is that product code 101207 was used for the "Hostiles" and "The Attack" limited editions..."The Attack" was an unfluted 7 1/2" barrel. My example is neither of these editions, so I am going to assume that this product code was used for a number of .44 Mag varieties in the 90's. BTW, I really like this gun, it was my first handgun and on day 1 I was hitting bulleyes at 40'. Plus the "wow" factor compared to "puny" .357's. (No offense).
