Default Don't need no stink'in 380!

[IMG][/IMG]

Sold the BG 380 and added the 638 snub. The trigger is smooth out of the box and it disappears in my Desantis iwb holster. I will be looking forward to a Bear Creek in the future but for now it is great knowing I will not have to worry about FTF's or FTE's.
Be safe, Frank.

Congrats on the 638 !

I put 50 rounds through mine today at the range..last one of the day was a head shot on a combat sillouette from 15 yards.

Kinda impressed those good ole boys that were there...

Excellent choice and better decision! Even with todays new bullet designs I'd NEVER use a .380 for SD. Better than a .22 or a rock but a good .38 round is a much better man stopper. I much prefer the weight of my 66 or Colt Commander strapped on with a good IWB holster to defend my families and my own life with.

I would not want to stand in front of any gun. It wasn't the size of the round but the inconsistent feed and eject of the small auto's that drove me back to revolvers. I could not be happier for the trip back but I wish I could have saved the money for the trip but at least I ended up where I wanted.
No machine is perfect but the revolver is a very close second.
Thanks for the response.
Be safe, Frank.

I am amazed at the great trigger on the 638. I have a lot of revolvers, but this trigger is one of the best.

Great choice, you can't do much better than a J frame for CC. Although for the last year I've been carrying my polymer framed Bodyguard 38 which is kind of a J frame at least size wise. I agree that the 38 Special will always be a better defensive caliber than any 380.

I have mostly revolvers and like your choice. I do have a couple of autos...a 1911 and my choice in .380...a Walther PPK/S. I have to say I do like the Walther but would like to add yours to my collection, too!
