Default OK, I caved.....

At a local gunshow recently I was in a trading mood and came across a very nice (almost perfect)2 1/2" Model 19-6. I was already feeling a little good about a previous deal I'd made and decided to do a swap using my 3" Ruger Sp101. So, as usual, I took a little beating on the Ruger and took home the Smith by by gosh I was holding a 19 again! I've let 2 other snubbie 19's go in the past and regretted both decisions. Since then I've had to brush past the nice looking 19's on this forum, looking at them made my heart hurt a little bit. I've even saved pictures that I came across just because the handsome little 19 is so picturesque. So, now I've got 525.00 invested in this one and even though I thought that was a little high I'm OK with it. And I promise to keep this one....really I do......

It's an illness isn't it.

BTW, I took off the silly Uncle Mikes grips and stuck Hogue Bantams on it, and I picked up a Bianchi 7 Shadow. I also put a Wilson Combat spring kit in it....half the fun is trickin 'em out!

Congrats! Doesn't get any better than a K-rame magnum snub!

Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI

Always good to hear from a Happy Camper. If you liked the deal....that's all that matters. I have buyers remorse on a constant basis.....but I always get over it.

If you are like me you won't be satisfied until you add that 19 snub to the 66...

I was telling a buddy today that I want a snub 66 so I can carry both for the classic New York reload......
BTW sorry for no responses in the last few days, I was a recipient of the wonderful Vista Virus 2011.

Nice new shooter!! Several years ago I picked up a 19-5 2 1/2" with a police background to it that had been shot very little and is very tight. It had come from a fellow member via a gunshop. I don't know of a gun of that size that balances better in the hand than the 2 1/2" 19's and 66's. I keep Remington 125 grain mid-range .357 Mag Golden Saber loads in it. As I recall, I paid the same as you did. As hard as they are to find now, I have no regrets! Mine isn't going anywhere as i'm sure yours isn't either! Enjoy!!
