Default Performance Center Reg. Mag M27-8 sideplate

When looking at this new 8 shot magnum, I noticed the sideplate with logo. Are they using the original Registered magnum, or the Pre 27 sideplate. Just wondering if the trigger boss is in the new position as of 1954 or are they using the old (original) trigger boss in this sideplate? Wanted to call SW Customer service, but closed until the new year. Thanks for your input............
