I guess if you're lookin' you'll find em.
On my way home from my pawn shop I stopped in another.
They advertised 500 GUNS IN STOCK. WhOa, 500 guns.
But, only one nice Smith. A 337-1 Ti.
I looked it over. Especially the face of the Ti cylinder.
There are no striations or evidence of harsh cleaning.
Read the warning below.
Anyway, I'm just about sold on it when I open the cylinder and there
is the serial prefix.
CDT. Wow, Those were my brothers initials.
Christopher Dean Trosper.
He just passed away in November at age 64.
So I buy the gun.
Here are the pictures of IT (Ti) and the other modern scarce J frames.
With early J round target stocks.
The symbol for Titanium.
Yes, it's alright to use +P in this one.
My 317 no dash, forged parts , 1997.
The stainless cousin 60-4 from late 1993. BPM serial.
The 631 2 inch. 32 MAGNUM .190 made in 1990. BEY serial.
Little group shot.
Instruction sheet for the 337 Ti, gun.
Commonwealth of Massachussets required paperwork for guns 3in. or less.
The funny thing is, the barrel on this 337 is 3.2 in. long.
