Default S&W Revolvers in .40 S&W??

Good morning Gents. I have a rather large stash of .40 S&W ammo from the IDPA SIG shootin' days. I like the cartridge enough, and the ammo doesn't seem to be worth a heckuva lot on the market after you pay for shipping...
I see that S&W makes a few revolvers in .40S&W and I really like full moon clips in revolvers so..... What are the models that Smith made (makes) in .40 S&W?? Thanks, H

The model you are looking for is the 610. but good luck finding one, and when you do, expect to pay a hefty premium,

I should have asked: Is that the only revolver Smith makes in .40 S&W? If so that's a pity. H

Actually the 610 is designed for 10mm, but it eats .40S&W just as well.
They are outstanding shooters if you can find one.
This one is a 610-1 from about 12 years ago.

There are two revolvers chambered for the .40 S&W cartridge (specifically) the 646 and the 646 PC. Both are sought after wheel guns that were made in limited numbers.

The revolver was built on the "L" frame and only came with titanium cylinders.

Here is a picture of the 646:

So the 610 will chamber and fire .40 S&W without issues? Does it use the same moon clip as the 10mm cartridge? Previous poster is correct. The 610, as rare as it is, is much easier to find than the 646. I was watching a (the only) 646 on GB and it sold for $1075.00. Supply and demand I guess. There isn't much demand for revolvers in .40 S&W apparently but there is a VERY limited supply if they only made 300 of them. I'm surprised the 646 wasn't more popular. I love moon clips in the 625 with .45ACP. H

The 610 does just fine with 40 S&W and, you do use the same moon clips.
