What's your favorite 3 inch J-frames
My favorites are the model 36, 38 spl. Just love the balance and weight of those guns. What's some of ya'lls favorite 3 inch barreled J-frames.

My favorite 3" J frame is a relatively new model, the 632 in 327 Magnum. It's a great calibre in a suitable J frame package.

My model 60-10 is my favorite 3" j-frame (actually my only 3" Smith and Wesson). Not a j- frame, but I also have a 3" gp100 that I like a lot too. wyatte

S&W Model 940. Great little guns with a three inch barrel.
I have two that I bought when they were in the $300.00 to $350.00 range. Granddaughters will get them one day.

I enjoy several of my J frames but my favorite has to be the 36-1 that I bought new in 1966. It spent its first year with me in Vietnam as my constant companion, so we grew rather close.

My massive 3" J-frame collection:
With such a collection, 'favorite' is a tough call most days. I lean definitely towards the 3" 63 - just a joy to plink away with. Whew, that was tough!

Some Great Guns Here!!
My favorite? I've only got the two, and each in a different caliber.
They both are a pleasure to shoot. TACC1
Correction: The M36 is a no-dash, and doesn't qualify. I got excited.

2.5" Is that OK? Closest I have to a 3" but I do love it. I have a 638 snub and I can not get over how different the two guns shoot. The little bit of extra barrel makes a world of difference.
Love the photo's of your guns people, I will be looking to add to my two because of post's like this.
Thanks, Frank.

Mine is a 36-1. Love the heavier barrel and fixed sight. I would love a 3" J-frame in .327 Fed. Mag. at some point.

Model 60-4, 38 spec. Recently ran across a very nice 650 for a fantastic price. Seems to be a handy little gun but is equipped with .22 lr cylinder only. Anybody know where I can find a .22 mag cylinder for this gun?

Mine is too short to qualify but I love it just the same. Those are some nice "long" ones men. Congratulations.
