I'm looking for the date of manufacture for Model 66, sn DAL97XX.

I'm going to guess 2002-2003, but the book doesn't go that high on serial numbers. Maybe someone has one close to yours and they can get the date closer.

Could be 2006+ but it's new enough that a call to S&W customer service would give you a date.

Sounds like a 66-7. 2-1/2"?
