Default Fair price for a model 60

I was offered a model 60 2 1/8" barrel ss 500 rounds thru it asking $500.00. What is a good price, any help would be appreciated

mine was 400 from a friend. lady smith with extra grips, box paperwork, excellent cond.

If it is a 60-3, they are a little more expensive. The last one I purchased was $475 in beautiful shape with box, papers, etc. Now if it is the 60-3 with the 3" barrel, then expect to pay more.

$500 might be the high side of ballpark -- but at least it's in the ballpark.

Around here that is actually a bit low. 60's go for $550, and 60's with pinned barrel $600.
