Just curious; what's that engraving on the right side?

That is wild! I was wondering about the stainless screws, among other things. I like the lightened trigger.

Talking

I like 2 tones and just added enough stainless to compliment the glass bead blue finish. The stocks started out as factory combats, got them down to where they fit , checkered them, oil finished them.

That is a wild concept for a carry-fun gun. Very nice, how does it shoot? Larry

Cool

Larry, when I decided to do this project, I had specific ideas on what I needed to get out of time spent. I knew I wanted a dependable , balanced, decent grouping, close quarter carry piece. Using Remington 40 gr. soft points , it shoots POA at 15 yards consistantly into a 3" circle with 2 hand hold, unsupported. Shootin into a decent size watermelon , length wise at 10 yards, turns the inside to mushmelon !! I feel confident to carry this piece if it came down to a one on one situatuon, within these distances.

You really have a cool gun there. The grips are great also. I have a project gun at Andy Horvath's right now. I'm turning a 17-3 into a .32 long. Cutting the bbl to 5" and a Weigand front site base for the interchangeable front blades. The origional model 16's are too expensive. Will hopefully get it by May. Did you do the model 10 yourself? Larry

Here's my pet Model 10-5 2-inch that was customized by Amerigun and Denny Reichard with some able help from Craig Spegel. She'll outshoot many of my 4-inch guns.

What is it (The Model 10 in 22 Jet) for?

Seems a bit light for defense. Not exactly right for sport. Ammo to expensive/unavailable for plinking.

I am not sure where such an item fits in, and am interested in hearing. I love to consider new things, and maybe I am just missing it here. Please educate me.

If it is "just because it is neat," well that is very good as I am all for people getting what they want. And, it is neat, by the way!

Nyteman 44 -- gorgeous custom. Well done all around. The work to the combat stocks is impressive. Were you into woodwork prior, or came to the project new to it? If the latter, how'd you come up to speed?

Also, what's the finish? In the light it looks like a bead blast blue...
