Default S&W 67-1 Date (pictures added)

Just picked up a 67-1 yesterday - box, ALL documents and unopened tools (including screwdriver) - it has been shot, but if you didn't know it, you wouldn't know it. Included a boxed set of Pachmayr Presentation grips as well.

Have not shot it yet, but the balance that the model 15 and 67 fans rave about is readily apparent -

I was fortunate enough to aquire an excellent condition mid-70's Roy's Orignal Pancake holster with basket weave pattern for the 4" K frame some weeks ago - what a phenomenal visual classic pairing these two are.

Non-pinned barrell - Serial #ADH80XX

Can someone assist with an aproximate mfg date?

Is that # on the bottom of the frame below the grips? Does not look right

According to SCSW it looks like it was made somewhere between Oct '83 and Dec '83. You have a beauty there...thanks for posting pictures.

In 1982 they deleted the pinned barrel.
