Default Learning about my gun

So I'm trying to learn about the revolver that I bought. Some of the things I'd like to learn is the age, if +Ps are ok in it and any other tidbits that would be interesting about its model use through the years in the field LEO, military etc.

Here are a few pics of the gun and the markings. They aren't great pictures I just took them with my phone but I figured they were a good starting point.

That Model 10 will shoot all the +Ps you can afford to feed it, then do the same for your son, and probably for his. Enjoy !
